more available moisture... try circulating the air, maybe with a cool mist humidifier.

Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circles of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty."

Well.. several of my friends cakes are all pinning like crazy around the bottom rim (where a lil verm was left on the cake) I'm assuming this is because of more humidity.. he'll definatly prolly double end case next time.. but here's the question... are these things gonna abort since they are on the very bottom? or is there enough myceilum "foundation" for them to mature? Thanks for the info everyone..

Well, these cakes stayed like 5 days in a terrarium that was clear on the sides and had a solid colored top.. this thing didn't hold moisture very well at all either.. But he got a new rubbermaid.. it's clear but clear on the top too where he has a bluespectrum floro light... it holds moisture a lot better now.. if he didn't know any better (which he doesn't) he'd say one of the cakes looks like it MIGHT pin on the top.. YAY! Let's see.
