 What can i program for you?

i have been learning a little C++ and i want to try my skills out. Do any of you have any ideas for a mushroom related program that you would like to see? i have considered making one that converts between various measurements (i.e. grams and ounces). any ideas?

i found a conversion program on the net that converts everything under the sun. so i was a little disappointed. perhaps i could make one that is aimed more at the mycologically oriented user.

1) make an OFFline mushroom calculator.
or
make a program for virtual mushroom growing. It would likely take a while. prob more advanced. but if you've ever seen high grow, it would be really cool to have a fungi grow type program. have different strains, types of substrates, conditions, etc. very fun

I brainstormed a "fungi grow" several times and that would be just badass. picking substrates, casings, humidity and temp levels, fight off contams. stuff like that. it would be badass. maybe all the shroomerite-programmers should get together and discuss possibly making all this into a realistic project? what do you people think?

i don't know that i could program anything that sophisticated. it would be entertaining but i don't know that it would be a good model of reality, and thus probably not good for planning your grow.

it would be more of a game than an actual simulator, something to do in your spare time I'm guessing. It would be funny to be able to earn cash, buy syringes from vendors, shop at walmart and other stores for supplies, I dunno... I have a lot of ideas.

you are a true myco fanatic. sounds like a fun idea but i just got a job at a hellish plastics and metal plant where i push buttons all day long, so any programs i make will have to be a bit less invovled. good idea though. keep em coming.

If you are jsut starting out you should try to make a myco-dictionary that would be both helpful and productive.

OK i need a program that will rename all my mpg, avi wmw files. The naming convention u use is of no importance. it can be from 1-1000 or a1 a2 a4 etc. See i have lots of porn movies that i have downloaded from the internet and i have them in separate directorys alot of them is currently named a b c d e f g and so on and so forth.
I would like a program that could take all those mpg:s and rename them so that i could keep them in the same directory.

Are you serious about making the Mush Grow program? That would be cool! I can make the pics for you(or at least I'll try).
Imagine.. that you could case with whatever you want to. Like you can choose the amount of peat moss, verm and so on..lame.. That would be very interesting.
