so a black bird singing in the dead of night was wondering what method was best for semi bulk cult. he was thinking of using shroom gods tek with just straw. he doest know where to get good poop. i dont know what to tell him though. i just grow strawberries. The blackbird sure does love oyster mushrooms.

Straw works well. Straw with dung works better.

(If the blackbird's serious about the oysters then omit the dung.)

Maybe try straw/poo is smallish containers -- roughly 9x9 or 12x12 (inches)
That way, you won't have to wait like 2 weeks for your substrate to be colonized by cobweb and trich. like my friends first try with that stuff
Good luck.

Listen to him.Roadkill will tell you himself,I looked for MONTHS,I was about to get Blue's Poo but then finally found a place to get the real thing. NOTHING beats good ol leeched and dryed manure for bulk IMO. Store bought compost DOES suck ass, trust me.Maybe some is okay, but I bet you it still doesn't beat manure regardless.

The above is just like,my opinion man

What you should do is go to your local nursery and try and find some organic manure or whatever they have, and just do some test, like some with just straw some with a mix and some just manure see how your local manure is, it seems that some places carry good manure and some places are just shit (figureatively speaking of course)
