You need no sources, since we all have google, msn, yahoo, etc. You shouldn't make a house air tight. In fact, I keep windows open 1" even in January when it's -30F outdoors. I don't wish to breathe the same air over and over again. Indoor humidity in the winter should be maintained around 30% as already said, with fresh air supplied from outdoors.
If you wish to have cracked skin, nosebleeds, creaking floors, and sheetrock cracks in your walls, don't run a humidifier in the winter when the heat is on. The rest of us will. RR

Wow. I can't believe you are pushing this point. Go find a forum on energy auditing and go ask some questions so you can see how wrong you are.
The dryness is a symptom of the air leakage. How are you not getting this? If your house is too dry...you are leaking too much heated air to the outside. Not only is this causing your discomfort, it is costing you money, a lot of money.
There are established guidelines for the amount of air that should exchange with the outside. You measure air leakage with a device called a blower door and a manometer.
Once you bring your house into the proper air exchange limits, you will the air to be perfectly fresh and perfectly moist. It's just that simple. And you'll save a ton of money.
You're being stubborn and repeating yourself, refusing to think about it for more than 5 seconds.

If I ran a humidifier and got my rooms humidity up from 20% to 30% and kept my SGFC in a closet in the same room with the door to closet open with a fan on low blowing towards the closet but not directly at it do you think that I would have enough FAE without drying out the cakes too much RR? ?

The FC would be on a shelf in the closet a few feet off the ground with no air blowing directly on it just air blowing past the door from 15 or so feet away just to circulate. If nothing else I will have to steal a table from another room to set it outside the closet near a window facing east. The window does have black curtains but I am afraid that it might be too much light since the morning sun hits that window and some light does get through the curtains.

You want very bright light, and just about any fan in the room will disturb the air too much. Leave a window slightly cracked and you'll have all the air movement you need. I don't recommend closets. I'd suggest putting it right out in the open. RR

How far away should the window be from it? If its too close wont that work against the FC temp? In same room? because I have three windows in that room one of witch it would be sitting right in front of.
