How about a quick assesment of the facts before arguing your idiotic childish points of view? Lets realise that these revolutions were orchestrated by western intelligence, then discuss whether they were right to do it/ will it succeed and so on.
We now have a military junta in charge taking orders from Washington, is this truly freedom and democracy? The protests have spread to Iran, the US's nemesis, is this a coincidence? They have orchestrated two coups there already during the 20th century and tried it on again in 2009, does this not arose suspicion?

So we are not allowed to debate unless we recognize your ridiculous premise?

They are not coups, Ahamadinijaid was unpopular in 07/08 particularly among the part of the population who wanted a secular government and religious moderates who opposed nuclear armament. I had seen a few Al Jazzera and BBC productions that made these schisms of popular opposition clear. He had lost the election in 09 and used fraud to declare himself the winner.
I support the popular democratic overthrow of dictators by their populations no mater what the US empire's position is on it. Just because the resistance movement is in Iran may get US funds does not mean they are illegitimate. It is only relevant if the US starts using this to decide who is put into power.

I am really amazed at how naive some people are, to not make the connection that instability arising in regions where western powers want to gain control are also caused by those same powers. This is logic a 5th grader should be able to understand.

Egypt wasn't, nor was Tunisia. The only place where the US gets an advantage by a change of regime is Iran. So, when you say "these revolutions" WTF do you mean?

I'm not quite sure of the validity of the Iran protests and if they are a true populist movement like Egypt was.
I mean, didn't Iran already have it's revolution?

I don't think the people there are all that happy that they just traded one authoritarian regime for another 30 years ago.

the tweet heard across the world, or something .... I hope everything works out for the egyptians and tunisians, and libyans, I havent the insight on these current affairs in the middle east to truly express how I feel about such a thing. Its hard to really gain a proper perspective with all the dis/mis-information floating around the world. The only thing I know for sure is that rape is not good, down with rape, etc... Our interests in these regions should not blind us of what is right and wrong,.

Egyptian Protesters Overrun Secret Police Headquarters, Seize Evidence of Torture
Quote:
In Cairo, hundreds of Egyptians stormed the headquarters of the nation’s secret police, seizing mounds of secret documents and evidence of torture. McClatchy newspapers reports some former prisoners sobbed as they saw their old cells, recalling electric shocks and severe beatings. Families held passport photos of missing relatives and were desperate to explore the dank chambers of the State Security building for clues to their fates. Activists say documents found inside the building contain evidence of phone tapping, election rigging and torture. Protesters searched the building looking for political prisoners.
