Say, since when did the left embrace military dictatorships? Oh wait, that would be ALWAYS!.
Quote:
Vice President Omar Suleiman announced in a 20-second statement on Egyptian state TV that Mubarak was stepping down and handing power to the military to run "the affairs of the country."
Reuters reports that parliament will be suspended and the military will lead the country along with the head of the constitutional court.
What do you mean? The left has always embraced military dictatorships? I don't understand.
Is there some particular partisan divide on this issue in the US? I've not heard anyone really say anything of substance, including the president. I don't understand your comment nor Anna's.
What do you think these countries are or were?
Cuba China USSR Vietnam
Pre collapse of the Soviet Union: Rumania Hungary Poland Yugo Czecho Latvia etc.
Military dictatorships. Embraced by the left.

Mubarak has stepped down, and the power now resides in the Defense Minister's hands.

Been interesting so far. I just wish Iran would join in. I admire the females of Iran who practically were at the front of their revolution. No cheering for them from that worthless president and his worthless administration. Also, I hope Egypt gets a better government hopefully a stable secular government.

It would be interesting to see someone write a serious comparative article between the two revolutions highlighting the reasons why one at least seems to be succeeding and the other failed.

Considering the maturity level of your post I must ask if you are of age to be posting at the shroomery?

Kukaracha,
Please review the website and forum rules. This particular forum has pretty much just two rules, one of which is no personal attacks, and while gentle ribbing is tolerated, comments like yours cross the line. I don't moderate this forum, but I suggest you edit your post if you want to avoid trouble in here.
Thanks

Are you "surrendering" your privilege to post in this forum?

I'm not a mod but if I had the power you wouldn't be posting at the shroomery. You got no class.
