His eyes are too close together... can't trust him.

To call humans 'rational beings' does injustice to the term, 'rational.'  Humans are capable of rational thought, but it is not their essence.  Humans are animals, beasts with complex brains.  Humans, more often than not, utilize their cerebrum to rationalize what their primal instincts, their preconceived notions, and their emotional desires have presented as goals - humans are rationalizing beings.

The bombs that will fall on your cities will bring democracy & freedom for everybody except for collateral damage who will be buried 6 feet under.

If the tyrant were gone from the United States we might be closer to 'liberation'. Think about this boys and girls: Bush attacks a country because he 'suspects' that they may be hiding something... next might be your home because the government 'suspects' that you are hiding something. This is indeed a dark period in the history of the United States.

Good Lord you truly can't believe that.

What we saw last night was a Great President doing his job. He does not want war. If the United Nations would do it's job there would be no war. Are we going to get into the business of making idle threats now? Was the threat on September 11th Idle?

We should get into the business of making no threats, and no war. Humanity would be better off that way.

Good lord help us when people say it "might be your home"
Read the papers, they do it every day,to homes like anyone elses, right here in Amerika.Let a good citizen neighbor say they think your growing grass and see how long it takes to be "inspected".
As for you Tackleberry the utter ignorance of the present state of affairs in this country you show is truly shameful. If you've ever seen an Urban Assault Vehicle raid the wrong house you might have a different opinion........or you just may hope you can watch it over again on COPS.
Please read the Constitution people and then post Informed Opinions of this countries governance.
I tremble at the level of Jingoism/Imperialism present in this country.I hope you all like living in a religious dictatorship.WR

His speach was better than most. He may have went about it the long way, but it just gave more time for diplomacy, but of course, Saddam won't go peaceefully and something should be done if he has been in weapons violation for 12 years and the UN just does nothing. At this point, I'm backing the war.

Isn't quite as it seems?

Is an elaborate dream?
And if you look at your reflection,
Is it all you want it to be?

Jeb.....

When I see Bush making a speech I assume that it's a clever double because the real one can't complete a sentence......

He's not that bad. He is just the fall guy if this whole thing goes to hell. I kind of feel sorry for him. He'll be the loneliest man in the world, and the men who are truly responsible will disappear back into the shadows.

Those of us who were smart enough not to vote for a shit-for-brains liberal.

--------------------
You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity. What one person receives without working for another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for that my dear friend is the beginning of the end of any nation. Trying to figure out what to make of this.......

What's to figure unless you're very slow.

1st, that's cut from two posts and it's more than just a bit dishonest not to have said so in your post.

2nd, it means just what it says.

Since you seem slow I'll translate for you.... follow along..... I'll go slow...... ready?
I voted for the guy who SEEMED best in the primary. (McCain)

I voted for the guy who was the best in the general election. (Bush)

Did you follow that spanky?

I'll add this.... the day a Libertarian candidate stands a chance of winning, that's where my vote will go. (assuming he's the best candidate)
