you can fruit them on cakes quite easily.

They work ok on cakes but I have found that it is better to case them. That's just what I think and what do I know :wink:

how could you have found that it is better to case them when you have never cased (you just posted that btw). But yes, casing is much much better.. but they will fruit happily on cakes :smile:.

I have also heard that it is easy to get B+ to grow off of the cakes, but I had very little success with it. I believe that one grew from the cakes and then they just sat for about two weeks before I decided to case them. It is much easier to keep the casings moist, but the chances of contams are also increased by doing this.
