If you're looking for this hygrometer try going here:
http://www.bargainhumidors.com/bh/ProductInfo.aspx?productid=ACC-ANALOG
I got 5 of them for $22, plus some shipping. And without the hassle of eBay (::shakes fist menacingly::).

That was an unnecessary comment and definitely off-topic.
Religion/spirituality isn't a joke, people's misinterpretations of it IS. You know, the nuts out there that do evil things in the name of God, (crusades for example). That isn't the fault of religion, it is the fault of man (much like all these dam oil spills, "war on terror", "war on drugs" etc.) All these are created by man, and end up being worst then the thing they try to purify.
You notice a shared characteristic of all these issues? Drugs, terrorism, religion? These are all "excuses" for men in power to carry out their desires. War on drugs/War on Terror/Crusades, its all the same shit.
The dinosaurs you're talking about? It has about as much to do with religion as the rock on the ground. Don't believe everything the priest/church says, churches have NOTHING to do with religion, once again its just another organization (just like the government/illuminati) made to enslave people into a way of thinking.

Spiritualism in general is a joke.
To believe in something, anything, that can't be proven is useless and utterly pointless.
The actual concepts of belief and faith are illogical and beyond reason in and of themselves.

Just explaining the symbolics behind the avatar...
But I like how you cried about me being off topic (In my own damn thread none the less), then you follow on about the same damn shit...

Anyways, lets just drop it...

you can manually calibrate them so you should be 99.9% accurate. I have one also, they work perfect.

Apparently salt doesn't work...oops But now I know so it's cool.
Just to clear up the confusion:
After doing some searches and finding RR's reply's to countless threads asking about calibration
Bottom line is Wrap it in a soaked towel for about 30 min or so.
After that set it to 98%.
do a search on hygrometer calibration and see that RR says the same thing even as for back as 3 or 4 years ago. lol poor guy gets the same question over and over ...lol
He explains the reason is you should calibrate the unit in the setting it will be used for. very humid.
Caliberation debate
Quote:
You calibrate any instrument in the environment it's going to operate in, because no instruments are accurate through their entire range. The salt test is great for a cigar humidor because that's roughly the humidity they operate in. Our greenhouses and terrariums operate in the 90% to 99% humidity range, thus we calibrate them with the wet towel method for better accuracy. RR
This was a bad idea but it help me to know if the unit's were in sync but not an accurate RH reading for a FC

Edit: I know you already covered the towel method Boris This was just my attempt at redemption

I have one and it's OK, but not exactly the second coming. It'll get you by, but if you want primo, I've seen some nice German made Colibri's on ebay at around 15. Or better yet, go with a Mason's Hygrometer.
Exactly correct, Barakanaten.
