The product provided in the second link is the correct parafilm.  You want laboratory grade, breathe-able, seal-able tape.  Not parafilm designed for decoration purposes.

Parafilm has a moisture content that'll need to be kept by keeping packed in a ziplock baggie or piece of tupper-ware after it's been opened for storage and between uses.  If your parafilm dries out it becomes brittle and non-stretchy.
