Late July early August until the freeze comes.

if ya lucky and its wet enougth there can be a small lib flush in spring.Around the start of may.But this isnt too common and its already a dry spring for the uk.
Amanita Muscaria( Fly agarics ) can be found in wood land from early summer till autum as well.

I met an english guy in Guatemala who told me that he went mushroom picking in Britain somewhere and he said he was picking the female mushrooms of a certain species. The male ones weren't magic, but the females were. He had a really bad trip haha

lolzz, thats a funny story Dogomush !
I once knew this guy that told me there were shrooms growing a mile from my house so we went to this field and he showed me the said shrooms and I advised him against taking them as they definately weren't psychoactive but the idiot ignored me and started munching them down only to start projectile vomiting 5 mins later ! 
There weren't that many p semilanceata there Paid, it would have probably taken a couple of hours hunting to get a decent trip but still a nice find none the less !

Yeah im pretty sure my spots will be fruitless as its so dry here, still rain for monday so next week could be better.

Nice! Thanks Biotek, didn't know about the Agarics, will definately look out for those at summer time. May help to liven the holidays up a bit . With Fly Agaric should I expect much the same sort of trip as with Liberty Caps?

No, do some research on Amanita muscaria before you try it.
Its very different and requires reading up on.

I have never noticed a similarity to alcohol but dosage is the key, start small and work up slowly.
My favorite part is the dreaming phase.Very interesting.
Very common uk mushroom.So well worth the reading imo.

1000's!!! Nice, very nice. These things are quite hefty looking, would one dried (let's say medium sized) induce a trip? Eg. is a Fly Agaric dose similair to psilycobic mushroom dose?
What sort of area were you finding them in Clash?

no one whole agaric would = way more than a Psilocybe trip.There nothing like each other.The only simularity is there both mushrooms.You should start with like 1 quater of a dryed small fly cap.Read up
