interupting the light cycle?
    #1381924 - 03/16/03 05:10 PM (21 years, 17 days ago)

i read this story of this guy that had a puny first flush, so he stopped co2 removal, kept moisture @ 100%, temp @ 75(f), and left the cake in complete darkness... what are the pros/cons of this? keep in mind he was attempting to induce a more successful second flush and the cake is 1.5" over a 0.5" layer of perelite, all in a "Ps.C.(equadorian)" magical bucket.

He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings, as something separated from the rest--a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circles of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty."

Light is important to pin formation so total darkness may not help you out on a good second flush and even if you do get pinning the mushrooms will grow at weird angles and not be upright. Also not removing excess co2 could slow things down a lot for you.
