Maybe that is what life is like for you.  In rehab we learned about "maladaptive coping mechanisms" and approval seeking was one of them and it's what people use sometimes to fill the void in their life...  They don't feel comfortable unless they are approved by their peers.  This may stem from one of your parents having set very high expectations of you or something else you learned in your early life to deal with that feeling of emptiness.:shrug:  Not just junkies have these coping styles in fact everyone has them whether they are conscious of it or not, junkies just exacerbate them.

I don't approval seek as much as my other coping styles, I just happen to agree that life is indeed suffering, and that's why i chose to shoot heroin directly into my bloodstream all day every day for a couple years of my life.  Heroin is the closest thing to nirvana possible IMO.

I have easy access and and basically an endless supply... i just don't have the endless supply of money, and non-responsibilities to match :lol:
