keep it at 72
78 will but the internal temp from myc colonization raises that by several degrees bulk is 10  or more degrees.

No white at all means you may have used too young of an LC that wasn't fully colonized.

The LC had already been tested on a pint jar of grain that colonized completely in slightly over a week.
Also, the jars shouldn't be producing any added heat if I don't notice growth, correct? This is an effort to speed up the first signs...

Correct, but just leave it @ 72 & do your other jars. I wouldn't worry about them.

I always keep at least one outta the batch to G2G...sometimes 2 if I'm feeling sauc-aye:grin:
