Tea from fresh fruit.

I know that making tea with dried mushrooms works well enough.

Now is there any reason that it wouldn't work as well with fresh ones? Is the alkaloid content different before drying, making it more heat sensitive or anything like that?

Has anyone made tea with fresh mushrooms and wished they hadn't?

i have made tea with fresh mushrooms. it worked fine. I would just eat the mushies because it is very easy to lose petency unless you know what you are doing.

Yeah buddy but the frozen tea's gonna last a lot longer than the fresh fruit will in the fridge...

Ive only made tea from fresh fruit. Field picked bc i hate to use HGs in tea, i think i lose potency but when you pick them wild who cares?
My recipe for some killer shroom tea is this

1. wash the mush very good and chop up

2. bring water to boil, let it stop boiling and have it very hot
add, the chopped fruit and let it steep for 30 minutes

3. add some teabags to it while its steeping. flavored teas worked good, i like apple cinnamon

4. strain out the solids, add ice and sugar

just be sure not to boil it
