It does not look like cobweb to me just normal growth. If you saw cob web you would know it.

DOnt trash it, its not cobweb, not even close to being cob web. Its good just a linear mycelium growth. you will probably never see cobweb in your life time.

If you could imagine that your mycellium growth (which that is, btw) is a solid object, then a cobweb would be similar but more pourous (follow?). In other words, it looks like a cobweb, and you'd probably know it when you saw it.

If in doubt, get your sterile syringe and fill it with 1:3 water:hydrogen peroxide (or just pure H2O2 if you want) and give it a little squirt. See what happens. (c:

The girl he had dragged along to the pub with him had grown to loathe him dearly over the last hour, and it would probably have been a great satisfaction to her to know that in a minute and a half or so he would suddenly evaporate into a whiff of hydrogen, ozone, and carbon monoxide. However, when the moment came she would be too busy evaporating herself to notice it.
