Everyone likes to laugh. The spirit of laughter is revered in most religions. Laughter makes you feel better wen youre feeling low. I think we should make a forum solely for humor and posting funny stories. It will be great.

Yes, we do need more forums. We need a humor forum, a Thunderdome, a Cheers room, a seperate security forum, and personaly I'd like a shroomery forum devoted to pirates and Star Trek.

With all due respect, I don't think the name of OTD should be changed, simply because I don't know if it will really help out or just annoy people.
You should post a sticky pole of this IN OTD and see how ppl think.

The only personal reason (keep in mind I'm speaking from a personal stance now) I have for wanting to rename OTD is as follows.
Our site is undeniably segregated into two off-topic community forums. However, one bears the official title of OTD, while the other is simply called The Pub. I feel that this distinction attracts new users to the OTD forum where they will grow accustomed to and stay... which doesn't give The Pub a fair change.
Thus, I propose we change the name of OTD so that there is no bias in the OTD portion of this community - since as it currently stands, both OTD and The Pub are in fact OTD.
Just my two cents, and keep in mind this is mainly just to humour me - and unless there is quite a bit of support for changing the name, it likely won't be carried out.
So don't worry......

We have a hidden forum call the "Pirate?s Cove," but it's invitation only. I'll ask the current membership of that forum to put your membership up for a vote. It's not a new forum, it was just renamed in the last upgrade, it used to be the GR forum...

Another thing. If you post a bunch of jokes in otd you'll come off looking like an ass and they'll get buried by al the non-humorous posts like the post I made about my cock and balls the other day. We have a polls forum for this reason, so polls won't get buried and people will have the opportunity to vote in them. Should be the same for jokes, so people will get a chance to read them.
