Pinning just won't happen

So my friend has these jars and they just wont pin, it has been about 3 or more weeks and he gives them a tempature around 70-76 all the time. Plus 4 hours of light each day with 100% humidity and lots of Co2, and O2 exchanges what else can he do. He is yelling, screaming and pulling all his hair out!

U need little CO2.. that's why you're doing the air exchanged. Sounds like you are doing everything right. Cakes I assume? I dont know what to tell ya, just gotta have the patience. You can try to do a cold shock if you feel like they are being stuborn.

Give 'em more light, and keep your CO2 down, but keeping your humidity nice and high :laugh:

Are they still colonizing the cakes, or are they stopped?

I swear.. this is like the newbs worst nightmare.. i wonder how many threads have been created over this, how any hairs have been pulled out after checking every five minutes if a pin has shown up. Patients! Just like mycelium doesnt show up and grow overnight, neither will a mush.
