i cant fucking wait for skyrim. they revamped everything, including the leveling system. they got rid of the restrictive class system, allowing you to specialize in anything, and theyre adding perks like fallout. also you can DUAL WIELD! if this game is anything like morrowind and oblivion, it will be game of the year, no doubt. I have legit played over 500 hours between the two games and know each map like the back of my hand, TES is the best series ever. ive never had as much fun playing video games as i did while playing oblivion stoned

that isn't necessarily true. skyrim is using id tech 5.. it should run pretty fine if you could run say... elder scrolls 4 or fallout 3 on you comp.

I didn't have trouble running either of those maxed out, so we'll see. I've only got a 2.2ghz dual core and 8800gtm though. I think that's pushing it...
I's interesting that they still haven't really changed the combat mechanics. That's always been the low point of the game for me.

if you don't mind running it without super high resolution... like somewhere around 1200 x 1600; you can probably run a smooth 30-ish FPS.

I can't wait for this game. I think I had like 800 hours put into Oblivion.

Elder scrolls is in a class of its own. Ive never been disappointed, regardless of the hype of any elder scrolls game. My one gripe is I would like to be able to murder someone in the woods, with no one around and be able to get away with it. Seriously, no one saw it yet I have to pay fines and run from cops. Fix that Shit. Also, need more drugs with beneficial effects. Shrooma instead of skooma would be nice.
