Mescaline increasing empathy long term
    #13770507 - 01/11/11 06:21 PM (13 years, 1 month ago)

Anyone else experience this to varying degrees?

I like to burn ants with a magnifying glass and worship satan on mescaline. I still wave to my neighbors so it's really a hard to say either way.

Clearly long term psychological changes are a result of ones own biochemistry and personality since psychedelics dont stay in your system long term. And whatever psychological effects they may potantiate vary as do the primary effects of the substance, since these effects play off of our existing state of mind - which varies from person to person. So yes, this applies to some people, some of the time.

I guess I meant more the experiences/visions/epiphanies that mescaline induce. Seems like the substance has a fair amount of consistency compared to many other hallucinogens.

Then again, this is all based off my own experiences. I created this thread to see if anyone else had similar occurrences.

Does mescaline have empathogenic properties? Of course. Its hard to word those into a single narrative tho.

I rarely post here but have to say this is correct in my case.

Everyone I know who uses mescaline reports increased empathy for up to 6 months after, some people claim it never goes away.

I have not got amplified empathy from mescal, it has always been an odd experience for me. I would like to try it again soon.

I want to try Mescaline almost as much as any other substance out there.

The big three for me that I haven't experimented with but dearly want to are: Mescaline, Ketamine, DMT - but not in that order.

One side effect that I notice a lot on Mescaline is that I have a lot less attachment to eating. Normally, I get low blood sugar and get to feeling antsy and shit if I don't eat on a regular basis. After a mescaline trip, I don't even feel hungry for a few hours after, and still notice reduced food attachment for a couple days.

I want to try mescaline more than any other chemical in the world right now.

One of these days, I will forge my way into the land of Mescalito

Well I'm in a low income spot and most of the money I get turns into smoke :P

But once I get a bit more cash flow, then the mescaline shall flow too

My use of psychedelics in general over the last few years combined with daily meditation have increased my empathy greatly.

I think that this is so because the aforementioned things are causing my ego to become increasingly transparent.
