Printing Pan.cyans.
    #1377207 -

A friend of mine has a small flush of Pan.cyans.(Cambodian) and was trying to make a spore print with no sucess.Everytime he tries, the cap does'nt drop any spores and just dries up.He tried moistening the caps a bit because he heard that it can help.....nothing!He is assuming that the mushies are sporeless for some reason..Is this a possibility?-- Does this happen often? Any suggestions that I can pass on to him?

Yes.

Usaually tehre are allways some sporeless specimens when I do multispore inoculations.

> Any suggestions that I can pass on to him?
If there are sporeless, then they will have very bright, whittish translucent gills as opposed to normally balck gills.

Next time try different isolates or a multispore inoculation.

He said, "It is a multispore culture"..So he's going to try and increase the humidity under his printing cup by placing a couple saturated water crystals near his printing material.

Try using a smaller glass for a covering and timing is everything with these..They dont drop for long periods like cubes....

No, they're polymer crystals that hold water like a sponge. Used for putting in the soil and conserving water.
