Did you noticed how uncomfortable Soros was when he was saying the term "New World Order"? Soros also seemed a bit uncomfortable as he discussed "an orderly decline" of the U.S. dollar.
most Americans have little to no idea just how much influence international organizations such as the United Nations, the World Bank, the IMF and the WTO have over our daily lives.
we already live in a world that has been deeply, deeply integrated. As this continues, at some point it will only seem "natural" for America to agree to a true global currency and full global political integration.
A global economy is bad for America and a global government would be really bad for America.

"obliquely calling for"? Spare us that particular bit of stupidity. War metaphors have been a staple of political speech, and a lot of other speech, since there has been speech and wars. There was only one mechanism at work here, and that was a broke brain douche You could also ponder our liberal legal culture that prevents any pre-emptive action against such persons in spite of repeated warnings. And those are facts. Not one oblique thing about them. Say, where do I get that decoder ring?
Did I mention that this jackhole had a thing for Giffords before anybody had ever heard of Sarah Palin or saw a map? Or that nobody knows if he even knew of it (although I bet he knows about it now).
