Signed Hofmann LSD Patent for Enjoyment

This is not a discussion post as such, but just thought a few of you might like to see my most treasured item - sort of a virtual show n tell. I downloaded the Stoll-Hofmann LSD patent and had it printed out on nice paper - it turns out my PhD supervisor was invited to give a lecture at one of Hofmann's 100th birthday symposia (not the main one, he had another smaller one, I forget where now, but can pull it out if anyone interested). So I thought, I know Albert no longer signs blotter (?) and anyway there's probably thousands in existence - but what about the LSD patent, has he ever signed one of those? It turns out he had never been asked - I wasn't at the symposium but I got my supervisor to have Albert sign the patent and draw the structure of LSD. He did 2 copies and my supervisor kept the other - so as fas as I know there are only 2 examples in existence - pretty neat really. Any questions please ask. Peace.

To be honest, I have considered auctioning it or giving it to a museum, for the simple reason that I don't want it to get damaged/lost/stolen. I'd rather someone have it that I know will take proper care of it. But how do you value something like this anyway?

I would get it matted and framed so it will stay in mint condition indefinitely.

I'll trade you my left nut for it. Right now seriously. I'll cut it off with tin snips and throw it on some agar. Then next time you go to a festival you can sell deemsta jacks left nut's. One for three, two for five.I bet people will get spun moneys. you'll be a millionare.
