Growing up in Vegas I learned at young age that gambling sucks.  I never gamble now.  Maybe an ocassional 5 bucks in the penny slots to kill time, but thats it.

That being said...I think I'm gonna drop a few bucks in Megabucks this weekend.  Megabucks is a statewide $1 slot machine system that has a progressive jackpot.  The jackpot has reached a record of well over 38 million right now and will probably climb close to 40 million this weekend if it doesn't hit.  This is the largest slot machine jackpot in history.  I know that the odds of winning suck ass, but you can't win if you don't play.  I figure I can afford to lose 50 bucks for the chance at 40 million! :shocked:

Of course, you also can't lose if you don't play....maybe I'll just buy a couple cases of beer and call it good. :wink:
