My therapist seems to have these on hand and would liek to know from those who have used them , which would be good to use to spawn or case with colonised popcorn kernels? He has Hardwood Chip Bedding, Aspen Bedding, Corn Cob Bedding, and Pine Shavings. ARe any of these cubensis friendly and would they thrive when grown in either of these Beddings or shaving?
They r from a bag and not fresh, so i assume they would have to be pasteurized.....correct??? Also if its being used as a casing layer, i assume neither of thsoe aforementioned would be able to hold much moisture, which would make it useless as a casing layer, but would mixing it with verm (say 50/50 verm to bedding material) make it more plausible?? Or maybe im wrong, they do hold moisture really well.
