I have read that this can be done..Does anyone here do this? Do you have to smoke as much as if you were to eat..? That would be quite a bit of smoking..

Some people report smoking shrooms and getting mild effects but everybody agrees it's a complete waste of shrooms. Just eat them.

Probably just the curious, I doubt people would repeat it.
It works, but not nearly as well. It's like smoking really really really swag weed. Only the high lasts for a very short period of time so you can never get "high" but you can feel something, enough to seperate it from placebo.
Try some, you'll be dissapointed. But then at least you'll know why people just choke 'em down.

Carlos Castaneda reports only smoked mushrooms trips. Maybe someone that has some mushrooms can try it. Also.. he was smoking till he started to feel effects. So I guess it was a long go.

Hey Dumblovesyou,
Castaneda lied about many things.
He was Yaqui, not a mazatec and those tribes live several hundred miles away from each other.
No Yaqui indians have ever used mushrooms ritualistically.
ANd that smooking mixture of humilito contained other herbals substances in it besides shrooms.
But most today know there is no Don Juan.
IT was only in Castaneda's head. Even afgter his death, his own wife did not know he had died. He also had to different cirthdays and birth certificates.
His books are fiction not non-fiction. Look them up ion books in print.

And agin you cannot get high by smoking shrooms or even the cyrstals, something I tried years ago witht he actual psilocine cruytals which just melted in the pipe. no effects possible.

Don't shrooms contain trace amounts of DMT? Wouldn't be possible that with the help of an MAOI and a large quantity of mushrooms to smoke, that an effect could be noted from the DMT?

Trace generally implies less than 0.01 percent.
I should mention that their are trae elements of morphine in both grass and in cows milk, discovered about ten years ago or so. There is a published paper onit but that is not my field.
Even wild lettace has landanum in it, an opiate found in th poppy Papaver somniferam.

And there are also three species of edible seaweed from the coast of Madacasgar which are now identified as containing DMT.
I will soon be posting some early papers on many other psychoactive plants still not brought to well to the attention of the public.
Many of these plants are of South AMerican origin and are of interest to large pharmaceutical companies which sponser Harvard Students on voyages intot he AAmazon to onbtain plants speciments for medical research.

one time i smoked a couple mushies.. it made me feel fucked.. but of course i had already eaten quite a bit... i wouldnt really bother doing it, but it did seem to make my high kick in faster..
