GT and Maz Incubation
    #1372077 - 03/13/03 07:52 AM (21 years, 11 days ago)

Has anybody that has cultivated Golden Teachers and Mazatapecs noted how long it takes before mycelium growth can be seen with whole grains? My friend is incubating these and innoculated 3 days ago and he is concerned he might not have any growth. The temp of the chamber has been around 83-84 degrees F. Anybody? Thanks!

As a matter of fact, my friend has a couple of Maz birdseed casings going right now.  The Maz takes as long to start growing as any other cubie - up to ten days.

Alright sounds good. Now, when you say that it takes about ten days to start growing... Do you mean when you can start to see some mycelium growth? Have you experience a full colonization yet? Any idea on how long that might be?
