Cerealrat - 1st off read the FAQ before asking any questions.

Would this be a good place for incubation?
How long until the jars need exposure to light?
Would opening the drawer daily for a few minutes of indirect sunlight be enough?
Any concerns that might arise from this setup?

As long as it stays around 83 then you are fine
Depends on how quick the jars are 100% colonized
Few minutes of indirect light will not hurt
Doesn't appear to be

Under a waterbed would work great. I used to just keep the boxes under my pillows and it worked excellent. I suppose in those drawers ( my bed doesn't have them ) would work even better. The jars need no light during incubation so don't worry about giving them any, just make sure they're not contaminated and forget about them for a week or two ( maybe checking them every 4-5 days isn't a bad idea )
Good luck!
