Anybody else a Metroid fan?

I've been in love with the Metroid games since I was ten. I have every game from the NES to Metroid Prime 3 for the Wii. I may have a bad case of OCD, but it's the best game in this mushroomy world. Anybody else have a Metroid addiction?

metroid series is wonderful...I was really happy some years back when they made the gamecube version with its nice graphics.perfect for quiet nights
the one for the wii worthwhile?

Ever play it while tripping? Just try it. It's...incredible. Do it on a good hallucinogen. Acid, shrooms, mescaline, and anything else that will make you be Samus Aaron.

Prime 3? Its not as fun as the first one IMO. It gets real fail when you hit the ubiquitous fetch quest.
But other then that it has a few nice features the others lacked.
Other M sucked.

Don't have enough money for Other M. Spent it on weed. I think the Wii version is different. It's not better, it's not worse, just different. Try playing prime on the gamecube, then the Wii. It's so confusing...

no bueno...we don't approve of television, internet, and games when tripping here...I tripped hard enough to believe I was in a high definition starfox game but orbiting jupiter..kind of rethought the whole actually needing to buy entertainment while messed up after that..I can see how it would be an awesome and creepy experience though.

OEV would distract me from the game...for whatever reason, games move in slow motion when I trip hard, but as soon as I break attention to see what is going on in the house, time is back at whatever the hell you want to call normal trip time....playing games in slow motion gets old quick unless you are kicking the shit out of someone else in a fighting game that you normally lose when playing
watching the carpet wiggle into sand dunes isn't something to miss out on

The original has yet to be dethroned. Metroid Prime is so immersive, unique, and varies greatly in soundtrack and environment. Awesome.
I started Metroid Prime 2 a couple of weeks ago for the second time. I got about 9 hours in last time and couldn't bring myself to finish it. I'm about at that same spot again and I am having great difficulty dragging myself through.
I really don't give a shit about having to collect almost all the same abilities over and over again and almost the same order. The game just feels like a big puzzle- a drab, dismal puzzle in some parts.

Metroid prime 1 and 2 are the best games I've ever played. Nothing can kick ass as much as these games have.

I remember sooooooo much of the day I killed Motherbrain for the first time.
The funny thing though is I remember killing Ganon in way more detail. I was in the fuckin 2nd grade and almost missed the bus. For some reason it hit me to try the silver arrows and I killed him and then heard the school bus honking.
Shit was fucking epic.

Super Metroid was fucking epic. I haven't played any of the newer games, though.
