Anyone tripped during menstruation? 1

guess this is for the females, or for the males who've tripped with females, cause it sounds like this board is predominantly male. AFOAF's girlfriend is tripping soon, and she has some bad ass PMS, with bad cramps and the like. She's kinda scared that it'll result in some kinda bad trip, so I'm asking about past experiences, suggestions, tips, etc. Anything will help. thanks

I'm a guy so I dont know, but if you've got bad cramps, regardless of what they're cause by and you dont think they're going to go away within the hour or so, why the hell would you want to trip? I dunno, I'd say wait til you're in a more peak condition, you'll have a better time. I mean, chances are she'd forget about the cramps and have a really good time, but then there's also the chance that she'd get sucked into a negative spiral and it'd be hard to stop thinking about them. Unless it's a once in a lifetime opportunity to be tripping in some cool place, I'd say wait a couple days.

<--look a girl! Wait till she's done cramping at least!!!! geeeeze! Other than that, go for it. wait...How bad pms? is every little thing the end of the world kinda pms? or just generaly bitchy? if it's the first one dont even think of tripping....if it's just generaly bitchy she should be fine...If every little thing pisses her off and makes her cry..uh no duh. Pms makes you more emotional, and tripping is a heightened state in which you feel VERY strong emotions...so..if she's being bitchy...just have a funny cynical trip..if she cant stop crying....no drugs for her for the time being...and for god sakes make sure the cramps are at least not too bad...they will drive you nutz.. GUYS: (imagine cramps like the worst charliehorse you have ever had in your entire life, spread throughout your lower back, hips & thighs , and front pelvic region) do you want to trip like that? NONOONONOOONONO god no

Hrm. Cramps like that? Wonder if it's anything like being kneed in the groin...

i menstruatated twice the other day and dosed in between... lets just say that something like that was just not meant to happen... oh, and there seems to be no menstruation tolerance effects... in fact, when i have done multiple menstruations in one day, the effects of each menstruation are stronger than the one before it... although, you may never be the same again... i must say that menstruation rules and we must do everything in our power to keep it legal!

Bumping because this is an important topic for the uterus-bearers among us.
For bad cramps, I'd recommend imbibing with tea (with lots of mint and ginger to stave off the nausea). My experience is that the cramps can go away with the mushrooms, but I'd recommend this only for experienced users, just so one can feel a certain amount of control over the experience. Also, taking an Aleve a few hours before dosing is a good idea, too.

My first trip ever was on acid and I was on my period. I was fine emotionally but I feel like it intensified my cramps. In the future im going to try not to trip during that time again, there's already enough going on during a trip already and that's one less thing to worry about.

My God that's a Long BUMP! 8 years 9 months?
I say tell her it'll make the cramps go away, wait till she peaks send her to the washroom then start screaming "OH MY GOD YOU'RE BLEEDING!!" and flick the lights on and off rapidly for 5 minutes. You may need a friend to flick the breaker for the washroom on and off in the basement if the light switch is inside the washroom.

Yes, Ballerium, that's not uncommon for acid. I've heard that acid can increase cramping, even in women who aren't bleeding. A few of my trips, I've worn a tampon, just because it increased my peace of mind, even if I didn't need it at the time.
But psilocybin is a different chemical, and I don't think the side-effects include cramping/hemorrhaging. There's also been good some research into the effects of psilocybin and LSD to treat migraines and cluster headaches, which often coincide with other PMS symptoms.
Obviously, I'd advise anyone, if they had trepidations about tripping for most any reason, not to do it.

For two cycles now, I’ve done low-doses right around the time I expected my period to begin. It actually seems to be helping me. It lifts my mood and maybe changes the headaches I have. They don’t seem to go away but theyre more tolerable. I’m going to keep taking shrooms on my period long as I possibly can because it seems to be one of the only things I found that helps.
I’d like to add that in spite of some of the snarky comments, this is a very important topic for half of humanity

My wife says its like someone is twisting your insides. She gets her period bad, i feel so bad for her. She's going through it now, tomorrow she should be better but she goes through 3 days of hell.
I wonder if christ being dead for 3 days has anything to do with menstruation, metaphorically. Highly doubt it, its just i remember the south park episode of a statue of mary having her period and shitting blood on everyone

This thread was started in 2002. These women complaining about their period cramps are probably past menopause by now.

i just posted about my experience today! 0.5 g dried cubes helped alleviate my cramps. i'm not sure what a larger dose would do, but the lower amount helped make me feel better, not worse.
