Is the league filled with more talent at QB than ever before?
Peyton Manning Tom Brady Drew Brees Michael Vick Phillip Rivers Ben Roethlisburger Eli Manning Aaron Rodgers Donovan McNabb Tony Romo David Garrard Carson Palmer Matt Ryan Joe Flacco Matt Cassel Vince Young Mark Sanchez Ryan Fitzpatrick Sam Bradford Matt Stafford Jason Campbell Kyle Orton Tim Tebow Jay Cutler Brady Quinn Jimmy Clausen Colt McCoy Matt Freeman Troy Smith Alex Smith David Carr Tarvaris Jackson
The top of the list is some of the greatest ever and the potential is amazing. You're going to see some serious talent in the NFL for the next 5 years and those top guys will further their legendary status.

Yeah its pretty amazing. Talk about good quarterbacks. Monday night football was nice NO Vs. ATL(although rather low scoring). My top 5 QB's in the NFL ATM;
1. A Rodge 2. Tom Brady 3. Payton Manning 4. Drew Brees 5. Matt Ryan
6. Phillip Rivers 7. Brett Favre (Best ever!)

Top QB so far has to be Brady fuck hes only tossed 4 ints so far this season The rest cant be judged until a few playoff games are played
#2 might be Cassell Peyton or Eli but i gotta look at stats before judging any other QB`s Both the Manning boys just havent had decent protection this year
Best rookie QB has to be Colt Mccoy
Worst QB of the year award goes to Romo the Homo

I'd Definiltey ditch Tarvaris, and the Smith's off that list.
Troy was doing well until teams figured how to scheme against him and Jackson has been a constant piece of shit while he's had that tenured back-up QB job with Minnesota's shit team.

I was just listing the potential. It's not like he's Rex Grossman. You gotta give a guy a little time to play and mature. I'm not hopeful about Jackson, seeing the way Webb played, but maybe his talents will flourish.
Alex Smith on the other hand has been given a chance and I don't see him doing anything other than playing backup. Troy Smith still has a chance to develop. We'll just have to wait.

Wait, Cutler is not great, but he's better than half those bums.

I agree you have to put Brady #1. What he is doing this year is phenomenal. Should go down as one of the best seasons a quarterback has ever played, if not the best.
There is no way though that Eli belongs anywhere near #2. I mean he's thrown over twenty interceptions and has cost his team more than a couple of games with his downright despicible play. He looks like a rookie, and not even a good rookie.
To me the list is something like:
1. Brady 2. Vick 3. Cassil 4. Ryan 5. Cutler

As much as I hate Brady, I'd have to agree he is by himself at the top of that list this year.
He is playing simply phenomenal, and I would worry if my team were facing him in the playoffs.

Its nice to see both these fuckers doing good. Especially since they both got shit about not being NFL caliber QB's.

With what he has accomplished already in his career, the way he is playing now puts him in the conversation of GOAT.

Id put brady at the top as well, but i cant believe some of you are leaving brees off your list. and eli? that dude sucks phenomenal ass. he is throwing and praying.
best rookie qb is freeman, no contest. that guy is going to be the next superstar QB.
as for matt ryan, he is a slightly above average QB imo... without roddy white I dont think he would even be considered above many.

I didn't put them in any real order, although it pretty much goes top to bottom. Cutler is pretty far down the list. I was listing most of the QB talent in the NFL. It wasn't meant to be a top list.

Second tier? The guy is 5th in the league in yards this year, and has more TD's than Aaron Rodgers.
Drew Brees had 20+ INT's, does that make him a second tier QB? Granted he threw the ball over 100 times more than Eli.
This was one of Elisha's best years...minus the INT's

Yeah but you can't take the INTs out of the equation. If this is one of his best years, he's definitely second tier.

Alright fine. I'll say this, he's a top ten QB.
Where does this second tier begin anyway?

That's a good question. For me you gotta put Brady, Manning and Rothlinsberger ahead of everybody else, just because they have been so coexistent.
Under that everything kind of gets muddled for me.
