reishi mushroom question about life cycle or mold?

i got a reishi mushroom indoor kit from fungiperfecti as a gift recently and so far there is only one visible about 2 inch mushroom. i opened the box with it almost at the size it is right now, and just few days ago i noticed a weird yellowish looking color on what appears to be the cap of the mushroom. I'm not sure if this is mold or a normal part of the fungis life cycle. Or if i should cut the bag for ventilation now?? Thanks alot!

Yeah, they turn yellow, orange, and finally that dark red color.
Are they in a fruiting chamber? If so, you can cut the tops of the bags off...
Otherwise, just fruit in the bag and fan them out a couple times per day.
