My friend has a few questions here.
If using mushrooms to make tea, what is the danger of hot water destroying any active componets?
If using an old cake : a) do they contain active componets ( I've read
contradictory statements)
b) again the heat question
c) I've read that 1 cake makes tea for 2, is this right?

I have wasted many cakes trying this and it simply dosent work. Just be patient and the shroom will soon be on there way.

I usually only make tea if I have some fresh dudes on hand because using dry ones just doesnt seem to work as well. Just get some water hot on the stove but not boiling. Be sparing on the water, less to drink in the end. Add the dudes in and whip with an egg beater for like 5 minutes until everything is broken up then I let them steep on low / med heat for 15 minutes. Strain through a tshirt and squeeze all the water out. I then mix up grape Kool-Aid according to the directions but make it double strength. Then mix your shroom juice and kool-aid and lots of ice for a tasty Grape Shroomaide.
