Killing Green Mold
    #1367423 - 03/11/03 10:36 PM (15 years, 2 months ago)

Say someone had some bulk substrate cakes that had made a few flushes and is going to just break them up into some fresh new manure and let it recolonize but they had a few spots of green mold on them, could they just dunk the contaminated pieces or maybe soak the whole cake in a water/hydrogen peroxide mix to kill that funky green mold?
sorry if its all rambling im really high

Yes you can, in fact that's what you should do, cut the infected areas and dunk the cakes in a h2o/h2o2 mix prior to crumbling.
Watch out for the manure, where did you get it ?
