Easy storage of large quantities

I think this is a solid idea.
Commercial soft drink dispensers (fountain drinks, not cans silly) commonly work by two methods, one method is where the syrup (in boxes with plastic bladders) and the carbonated water are mixed at the fountain. These systems are completely useless for this idea.
The second type of drink dispensers are the kind that use pre mix. There are stainless steel metal canisters in which the soda comes in, and there is a CO2 tank that pressurizes the whole system. These are useful.
My idea is if some enterprising individual had access to canisters of this nature, they could be cleaned out and used for MASS shroom storage.
The canisters open at the top so they could be easily cleaned out, dried, and filled with goodness. Then when the top is clamped back on, it would be very easy to take the CO2 tank and pressurize the can. One could then crack open the pressure relief valve until the tank reaches atmospheric pressure. And then I suppose someone could pressurize the tank again to get a higher concentration of CO2 surrounding the shrooms.
The whole canister could then be thrown into a deep freeze and stored indefinitely.
Cheers!

H a Ha..
never thought of it before....... cool.
I have one of these " Drink Master " units, they carbonize water with a co2 tank, one could simply omit the water, presureize the machine with co2 and fill bags with the pour valve...
Thanks.

They're called Cornelius kegs, and homebrewers use them for kegging their own beer. But where you gonna get a deep freezer? I think the kegs would be better suited to some sort of massive liquid innoculation technique.

i think the idea is kind of interesting but there are easier ways to implement CO2 preservation.
btw, history seems to have shown us that large scale liquid media culture is not practical for the home cultivator, despite the claims of teks like the psilocybin producers guide.

Easy storage of large quantities?? Sounds more like fucking complicated storage of large quantities. Glass jar = easy storage of large quantities.

What's so complex????
Fill ziplock with shrooms, push button on machine, stick bag opening over nozzle, and push button to release Co2.. Seal ziplock and
Done!
Now that was'nt too hard was it?

i'd say the definition is relative to the person you are speaking to.

A good idea, but helium might be easier to procure and cheaper than CO2, and would do the same thing even better. CO2 is oxidative, while helium is inert.

only pure helium (or ofcourse helium in mixture with another inert gass) is inert. where are you going to get it?
