Where to camp on Oregon coast?
    #1366912 - 03/11/03 07:01 PM (13 years, 8 months ago)

Hey all... I was wondering if anyone from Oregon or that knows:

Where is a good place to camp on the Oregon coast? A couple of my friends and I are considering going for spring break.
Also...

Thanks for the help!

Edited by Gumby: DO NOT ASK FOR SPECIFIC LOCATIONS.

you should know that, for various reasons, it is forum policy not to give out picking locations.

Attn PWN hunters: If you should come across a bluing Psilocybe matching P. pellicolusa please smell it.
If you detect a scent reminiscent of Anethole (anise) please preserve a specimen or two for study and please PM me.

Whoops... Sorry, I didn't know that. Very sorry! I will let my friend know. As for camping in Oregon that might be fun... replies would still be welcome! Thanks again!

i wouldn't sweat it, but you will want to be sure and read the forum posting guidelines and the faqs so you don't get reamed over something else.

as for camping locations, it will depend on what you wich to huunt. spring isn't the best season for actives, but there are a few.

There are many excellent places to camp along the Oregon coast. Check in at local ranger districts (in person is best, online works too), libraries, and recreation maps to find most. There are many lesser developed non-fee campgrounds, and places in the National Forest where camping is allowed for up to 14 days at a time. Depending on the area you plan on going to, there are many options. PM me for more specific locations....Have fun!
