probably tastes like i imagine that bird nest soup tastes. you know, the nest thats made from saliva? barf.
but i think the most horrid thing ive ever eaten was a seagull. not even if im ever starving to death will i eat another seagull. the only edible parts are the two small breasts, and they tasted like rotten clams after being fully cooked.

I agree! You gotta caress the shit you cook, sprinkle a little love on it and get in there nice and deep like.

I know it's made from the dried saliva of birds, but it is actually quite tasteless. It tastes like whatever it is cooked in and has the texture of severely overcooked pasta.

Definitely not the worst tasting, but the most pitiful thing I ever had was at a fast food joint in my city.
The Fast Eddies had a special for a "Franks Hot Sauce chicken burger". It was a really cheap and tiny breaded chicken patty -the same very cheap no-name brown-meat chicken patties you can buy in a discount grocery store. It was literally dipped in the hot sauce, the entire chicken patty was red from the sauce. It was served in a very basic hamburger bun with nothing else.
Fast Eddies used to be a so-so place to get a cheap meal. The burgers never were great, but it was worth it because it was very cheap. Now they are expensive, and the burgers are even more pathetic then before.

I want to know more about this seagull too. Were you at some survivalist camp?

I've seriously considered eating seagull. They fly around base all the time and it would be very easy to catch one. I air on the side of slightly nuts though.

Onions, ugh. I can smell them, even taste a little bit. But the texture disgusts me.

Some people claims of worst food sound more like food phobias. If you afraid of eggs and have never had one, you might be half nuts.If you don't like onions, you might be 1/4 or more nuts. Onions are so good for you, cheap, and easy to use that I can't imagine what it would be like to think they are gross. I start so many great meals with onions and garlic that I could never cook for someone who didn't like them. I would tell them to shut the hell up for being such a baby. If you don't like onions you prob only eat at Mcdonalds, because like 90% of fancy meals have onions.
I thought I didn't like eggs until I had one cooked over-hard which is like over-easy but cooked until it is firm.
When I was younger I didn't care much for tomatoes, until I tasted a real heirloom homegrown tomato ripe from the vine. And then I realized I had been eating something labeled tomato that was just an imitation.
I live way up north, and lots of people say they don't like spicy food, and it really peeves me that these people won't try to eat stuff more flavorfull than potato and cheese hotdish.
One of the things about juicing is that you don't need to have too many ingrediants. Try all organic apples sometime, and tell me that isn't the best juice you've ever had. If you are juicing mushrooms, you prob have the wrong recipe. I think pea soup from a can is really gross. Bad smell, taste, disgusting texture. Looks like barf. Worst Food Ever I also though caviar was pretty gross. By far most overrated food.

eating seagulls is actually a tradition in some port towns in England and Scottland. I remember watching an F word where Ramsay actually went to a fishermans house to see how they prepare it, needless to say it tasted like fish, Ramsay was completely repulsed by the smell, but said the taste was palatable (probably being nice, the damn thing looked like boiled roadkill)
Birds nest is tasteless and a complete waist of money, I can make birds nest out of agar and I bet you the average person not living in Hong Kong would not be able to tell in a hundred years. Sharkfin on the other hand does have a unique flavor but I refuse to eat it based on the harvesting practices

What do you mean by "birds nest" and making it out of agar?

It was the Fast Eddies in Hamilton, on Centennial Parkway. Im sure it went out of business a while ago. It makes me happy to see such a ripoff shit hole go out of business.
As for the juicer, I agree 100% that good juice can be made with it. Its just that I was following some total wackjob recipe that my girlfriend at the time found someplace.
