OK i have these two cakes that have been case and are in them disposable baking tins...i moved the tin back to see the under side of the cake and i have pins growing from the sides and the bottom...they look nice and healthy but im afraid they may cause some problems. should i move them to something else..if so what?....or should i just leave them??

uhhi would say leave them, i am not sure why you would move them. are you worried abou tthem comming up the sides?

chances are if there are pins there there are pins elsewhere, i would leave it, and let the little guys grow.

well just worried that they may abort and cause comtaiminate the cake...just cut the sides and folded them down to let them grow anyway they want...we'll see....any other thoughts would be greatly apperciated...Thanks

Take the casings out of the tin and prop them up with 4 glasses like a table and you can let all the pins grow to maturity without fear of them rotting underneath

You worry too much.

Leave it in, take it out... it doesn't really matter. They will grow either way.  :laugh:

completely understandable,
one thing i have learned from watching my friend, is that the newbe cultivator tends to worry way too much. just think abou tthings, and take some steril percautions, and you will be good.
