good for Koshcheck for making it til the end of the fight, but he didn't try to do shit once that eye got swoll.

no way, anderson silva is in my opinion the best of the best in the UFC right now, he hasn't even been tested by anyone in the UFC yet.

GSP is good but anderson silvas striking ability is just on another level.

I would love to see that fight happen, but silva is way heavier then GSP and so its unfair for whoever has to either go up to or drop down to the weight level. It would be a great fight though.

My money would be on silva though for sure.

Assuming they were even in similar weight, St. Pierre I think, has the greater advantage. Not only is he a great striker but his ground game is fucking insane

GSP is the man, everyone knows that, but he's far from my favorite fighter. I respect his abilities but he just doesn't excite me like some others do for some reason.
Also, who can challenge him at 170? I can't think of a worthy opponent. The UFC should do something fancy and have him fight someone from 185.

GSP is just from the UFC, he doesn't have that worldly experience. Silva has been fighting all over the world with the best of the best for years.

GSP would get ko'd for sure, he couldn't handle the heavy technical style and just timing and power that Silva has, there is no one in the UFC at the moment that matches what Silva can do, you can't train for it, hes just unique.

Based on what I've seen over the past few years, I'd still give it to Rush. Silva is a badass, but GSP has that fire.

Agreed. The same thing happened in ufc 123 with Rampage vs Machida. Machida is a great fighter, but tends to avoid the opponent directly. But Rampage got in and MADE him fight. Still, GSP is just pure skill. I have to go with him over Silva. They are both amazing fighters none the less.

I can agree that Silva hasn't had much to push him. That may make him more complacent. GSP is alot busier, to me, & he is good at setting the pace of the fight.

Yeah because there are a lot of fighters that are "good", until they fight somebody who puts them in their place.

Yup. Silva kinda knows this as well, he wants harder challengers. I like Silva more than GSP bcuz of his general attitude, but I feel GSP would beat him.

This doesnt have to do with this UFC but ive been wondering after the last UFC with rampage and michida do you think dana white is gonna let michida kind of fade away cause his fighting style isnt "exciting enough"

I dont think so. Machida is a great fighter, he just has very awkward tactics. The reason why he always seems to be "running" away is because it was said that he prefers to keep his distance and look for an opening rather than to just strike away. Many people dislike him for this, but IMO thats just his own personal approach for fighting. Everyone has their own strategy

Maybe, Dana is a business man afterall. After Crocop got the shit kikd out of him by Gonzaga, he still looked bad in his next fight. Like he hasn't recovered. Dana pushes those guys hard.
