Some problems with my fruiting chamber
    #13616141 - 12/11/10 04:17 AM (13 years, 3 months ago)

Pls can someone tell me how can i increase the humidity in my fruiting chamber - im misting it with flower mister 3-4 times a day and the humidity still is only 60-70 %. Also im using 8W light high in blue spectre (6400 K)for 12-14 hours a day.
  PS: My B  cakes are in the chamber 3 days now and still i cant see any shrooms - should i wait more or is there a problem. Im using perlite for bed for the cakes.
  PSS: Several times i found a little drops on the surface of the cakes just after misting - can that be a problem ?

Here are some Pics

Yes its sealed with Plexiglass sheet and im getting FAE just like in the site from where i ordered my syringes was described - on the morning and the evening i remove the Plexiglass sheet and wave with magazine to remove the CO2 because with holes in the tank there might have contaminations. Im fruiting the cakes in perlite and im using heating pad for keeping temp of 68-72 F.

you'll have better chance of developing contams sitting directly on perlite vs holes in the sides.... they should be on tin foil squares or something...

FYI: I stole all my pix off google! F+ PORN! Here is a shit-ton of porn by yours truly!

I have FINALLY written up a couple teks as to how SHP has done things in the past. DISCLAIMER: This is not for the newbie to mycology, and not going to work for everyone! This is simply what works for one person when other teks and methods have failed miserably!
~~~~~How SHP does their unconventional WBS Prep!! (NO DRY METHOD)~~~~
~~~~~SHP's highly disputed method of doing ALL their work outside of a flow hood or a Still air box!~~~~~
~~~~~Troubles harvesting the side and bottom pins in your mono? Learn how!! Dunking included ;-)~~~~~
ok i`ll drill some holes but im heating the house with fireplace on some 2-3 meters from the terrarium - couldn`t even a small amount of smoke from the fireplace be any problem for the terrarium.
