Logic Express 9
    #13605332 - 12/09/10 05:05 AM (13 years, 1 month ago)

Does anybody use Logic Express 9?  I just received an NFR copy to play around with, but have no idea where to begin.  It seems to be missing a manual.   (Actually, there is a manual, but it doesn't really explain how to use the software so much as where things in the software are located.)  Any direction towards tutorials or sites/books that explain how to use this monster are appreciated.

Here's Apple Pro Training Series: Logic Pro 9 Advanced Music Production if you're interested. It's 3.1GB with the companion DVD but you can also get just the ebook which is 182MB. I recommend using JDownloader.

Cool, thanks.  I found a bunch of stuff on youtube, of all places.

I broke out all my old midi gear last night.  Everything worked except my Alesis DMPro.  I keep getting a memory address error on it.  So much for their claim of "the most reliable drum machine ever".  I tore it apart and looked inside.  There are six or eight memory chips in there with each pair being a different brand, package, and manufacturer.  I'm not sure if it is worth trying to replace them or not.  My surface mount soldering skills are not the best.  Probably easier and cheaper to pick up something on ebay.
