outlook express..
    #1359959 - 03/09/03 10:20 AM (13 years, 8 months ago)

..is shit. I thought I just lost my entire Inbox, but OE has decided to ignore the file Inbox.dbx and create a new Inbox(1).dbx, and i dont seem to be able to change it back. I can extract the essential bits with a text editor or some recovery software, but does anyone know a good combined email/news reader that I can use as an alternative to Outlook Express?

I've heard that Eudora is good. I use Nutscrape because there are too many problems that keep coming up with Microsloth products and virus vulnerability. I'm self employed and use my computer for work - I can't afford to lose data because of Microsloth's insistence on ignoring many security concerns for the sake of 'interoperablity.'

To call humans 'rational beings' does injustice to the term, 'rational.'  Humans are capable of rational thought, but it is not their essence.  Humans are animals, beasts with complex brains.  Humans, more often than not, utilize their cerebrum to rationalize what their primal instincts, their preconceived notions, and their emotional desires have presented as goals - humans are rationalizing beings.
