Restoration of exposed mycelia?
    #1359782 - 03/09/03 08:30 AM (14 years, 8 months ago)

A neighbor of freind said he just panic'ed. In a stoned paranoia, he dug a hole and threw in some cakes for "safety reasons" he says. But now he wants 'em back out. What can I tell him?
a) dunk in a mixture of h2o/h2o2 (10:1) then mix with pasteurized dung at a ratio of 1:5. Colonize in an incubator and be on the look out for a contam.
b) keep it in the hole, but mix in some dung... maybe something will happen.
c) your fucked

ps, I appologize but I need people to see this!
: ) danke

I thought it would be resonable to assume that he could at least spawn with it using pasteurized poo. That way, the goody microbes in the majority of the mix would take care of any residual badies on the broken up cakes (after some sort of an attempt at clensing the cakes)

I'd try B. He's got nothing to loose anyway.
I once dumped spent casings in the compost pile in my garden and the shrooms popped out:
