Here are some pictures of PF Classic grown with TheMadSeason's mad bags.

This was from another bag, and was basically the only mushroom in the bag for obvious reasons

Hope you enjoyed

Looks good. Similar to my results. Trying to eek out a 4th flush right now

Thanks JD :}
And thank you too Lakotis! Ive been misting and fanning them after the soak, so maybe a few more will pull through :] Then off to the compost bin with them!
Sorry for the lack of info and stuff, just thought id throw up some bad quality porn for the peoples. Also noticed there weren't a lot of mad bag grow examples so i thought it might help when people are searching for examples of mad bags before purchasing. I'm averaging about 20 grams per bag from start to finish.

Hey Cap,
I did notice one factor that you might improve...
...you have blocks on foil, on the perlite.
While it might cause a few bottom fruits, you might want to elevate the blocks off the perlite.
I have used small flat "boxes" that I wrought from a roll of hardware cloth. These did well.
Let's see what the consensus is though. I am hardly and expert.
Take care,
JD

That was my first experience with spawning and coir, havent done a terrarium grow since but if i ever use that technique again ill definitely elevate them, you make a good point. they were originally in trays and i was going to fruit them like that, but i noticed the sub shrinked and the walls of the block started to pin, so i just cut the tin trays open. Thanks for the positive vibes man :] you take care too!

Thank you D-Dub :] These are the bags you can order from themadseason website.
Rin, I really don't remember, it was over a year ago, but I would say close to 1/2 oz dry weight (including all flushes) per bag. Maybe a little less.

How is this Java? I just layed down some brf pf teks on foil and some on perlite direct, and some raised off perlite 1/2" by wire mesh (for air flow underneath)
I've seen all three of these methods used but am uncertain about which is best, if any?
Cap the grows look and sound solid, Congrats! Do you know the weight of those bags? Just curious of the harvest to substrate ratio in weight? Cheers

Oh shit...this post is so old that I would like to dis-own it!
I did get good fruits from lifting my blocks off the perlite, but too many grew down through the mesh and were harder to harvest.
LOL, well, I have come a long way in the 14 months since then.
(I do sooo hope that no one digs up my "add H2O2 to your dunk water" post... ...I was dunking outside of the fridge at that point! (it seemed ok.. ))
Take care,
JD

The bags were probably around 2-5 pounds each, that's pretty vague I know, but it's been a while haha. I recommend just buying empty mycobags and using your own spawn and bulk substrate. Themadseason bags are kind of expensive, and probably aren't as fresh.

I'm sorry for the bump, but ...
Do you remember approximately how long your bag took to fully colonize?
