how did you prepare this?

the hericium I've cooked always had shit tons of water in them, did you do anything to dehydrate them?

is that all pepper on top? :wowz:

It was a trader joes pizza I just rubbed the fungus with olive oil and threw it on top of the frozen pizza and baked for 8 min......lol

It's basil and pepper

Hmmm all my hericium have good texture.... My area is drier than yours so I wonder if that's why....:shrug:

we had 0.80in precip. last month

have you sauteed them before?
sauteed them for the first time recently and it took quite a while. they released a lot of water in the pan, making it soupy... reverted to breading and frying

curious to see what they'll taste like out of the oven, probably on a pizza, but that'll have to wait til next year :sad:
