Why?

to see em for yourself:shrug:

It's not that simple... You have to isolate the specific strain of bacteria then introduce them to a growth medium that mimics the lake water's conditions but replace phosphorus with arsenic.

... Would be kinda cool if it was that simple though.

Lots of universities are operated by the Catholic church, especially in Italy.

But there's lots and lots of telescopes from Palomar to the Hubble that aren't "owned by the Vatican".

Also, I do not know if it has been covered, but I do not think that the initial image of the blue, lizardy thing has anything to do with this story; I saw that picture several months ago.

I honestly don't think this is new news what-so-ever.

I think they're setting up for something bigger.

They magically have pulled alot of groundbreaking discoveries out of their ass the past few weeks, are they slowly breaking the news to something bigger?

I certainly think so.

This is what i have been wondering myself.

Yes indeed. Or should I say maybe or maybe not LOL.

I still think the most interesting thing to happen as far as this topic is
concerned is when the Vatican came out and said they except the possibility
of extraterrestrial life. Could be a ploy to keep believers when we find out
we truly are not alone. Something may be on the horizon.

But is there not always something on the horizon

Aliens are out there no doubt about it. The UFO phenomenon is all the
proof anyone should need to tell us just that.

UFOs too are very much so our own government, remember a boom in technology including patented anti gravity technology, ufo technology heh

It is that simple though, we're just stupid in relativity to the vast amount of knowledge to be attained still

Fucking awesome, I love it.

Of course, any element could theoretically be conducive to life, we just have a hard time conceiving complex life which doesn't conform to the same elemental biology we're already familiar with. This is because our thinking is limited by a lack of imagination, not for any scientific reason.

And here's proof positive.
