Abnormally pale mushrooms/SGFC question

Okay so This cake has done about 4 flushes thus far, and I could only assume it is because it's exhausted. I dunked after each flush, mist 3 times a day and fan about 5. The mushrooms are small, pale and tore the veil really early. The caps were always a dark brown (Equador).

Also, just recently i drilled a bunch 1/4" holes in all sides of the terrarium, since it seems to be what is most reccomended around here for a SGFC. The problem is, after I've done this, my most recent flushes have been very small, with few pins and short mushrooms. I have a fresh batch of cakes coming in a week, but I need to know if there are any modifications I should make before birthing them. I have no way to measure the RH but it seems to have dropped significantly ever since I drilled the holes. I had virtually no holes before, and relied on an air pump/fanning for FAE.
Using the desk lamp for heat (It's winter here), the computer fan is long gone, and there is a 6500 CFL on top.

Interesting color change, not sure on that.
Your holes look almost too close together. Is that every inch or so?
That's a lot of fresh air exchange, it'll be hard to keep the humidity up, especially with that thin layer of perlite. Go for ~4".

Too many holes. U should tape half of them. They should be 2 inches apart. Or u could go back to Wat was working and have virtually no holes an run ur pump/fan.

I had a feeling there wasnt enough perlite, easy fix none the less. They're every inch or so. I should have known better, I read about the 2" apart thing but completely forgot. I suppose I'll let another flush or two go though until I decide on taping up some of the holes. If anything too much FAE is a good thing right? So I'd just need a more efficient humidifier.
