Now that I've had a couple weeks with this wine, I have an alteration to make to the recipe!
The wine turns out to be about 0.45% TA (titratable acid), which is rather low for a dry white wine - should be around 0.65%-0.75%. I'll have to add some acid now to make up for the loss during fermentation. I'll start by adding 1/4 tsp acid blend, and see how it tastes.
The alteration to the recipe is as follows: -before bottling, test the acid to see where it is and adjust accordingly (or, and I don't reccomend this, just add 1.5 tsp per gallon of acid blend).

Generally, yeah. They are rather small, and rather sour to boot! Kind of fun to suck on, if you're out and happen across a vine.

The best place to find grapes is right on the edge of some trees. The grapes will grow up into the trees, but they only fruit well in the sunlight...so anything but a North-facing tree stand will have some nice fruit!
Another good place is along the side of the road, out in the country. Grapes will often grow on fences, telephone poles, or anything they can! Just be careful about what field you pick grapes beside...because some of them will have pesticides and other toxins in them.

I tried the pumpkin wine out on my family for thanksgiving...they all loved it! Even my mom's bf, who doesn't normally drink wine, finished the bottle.

did you come up with the alteration? was it just adding 1/4 acid blend in the beginning as opposed to the end?
i have a few growlers laying about. i might give this a shop.

Actually...the one bottle I tried to adjust the acid on didn't get drank! It was the other ones (with LOW acid) that everyone went nuts for.
