if my colonizing cakes have big brown splotches on them around where the micyelum(howver you spell that) is does that mean they are dehydrated? if that is what it is would injecting sterile water into them help?
thanks

matt

Dehydrated cakes will usually turn a pale blue rather than brown. If they are dehydrated my friend suggests dunking them rather than injecting water.
