OK, I'll bite. Suppose I am creating everything. Then how come I can't create a couple supermodels and a sports car in front of my apt right now?
I'm curious how easy it is to really believe. On one level I realize that we create our own reality, yet I still have 22 years of conditioning going against me. Do you really believe you can manifest those things into your life? Physical reality, IMO, feels like a sort of training ground for conscious beings... it's like we are learning how to use these powers in slow motion. People with positive attitudes always seem to attract positivity into their lives. And, well, we all know about the guy who only dwells on the negative.

Lots of people truly believe that Christ will resurrect himself again in their lifetime.

I wonder if the beliefs of others prevents that from happening, like it's a consensus environment.

Maybe the mainstream belief that one can't create their own reality overrides the fringe belief that one can...

reminds me of the idea of collective karma... which is that events aren't just shaped by the karma of the individuals involved but also by the collective karma of the population at the time - which is why we're all in it together to improve this place collectively

Yeah he gets early retirement and relaxes all day posting on the internet with hardly a care in the world.

Nothing here need "improving". It's all perfect.

deCypher -
You've created a reality, or state of mind, in which your craving for those things pushes them away from you. You must wish without desire or worry, because otherwise you're just imagining it's hard to get what you want, and if you imagine that, then, well, they become hard to get! Your local car dealer probably orders less of those cars, supermodels move out of your suburb, etc.
For some reason the way things manifest is always out of sight. There's something wrong with things simply appearing like in a magic trick. They have to follow some kind of law, like, for example, someone might drive by with the car you want, or leave it running in the street or something. It won't just pop into existence.
Or perhaps it will in some kind of warped world, but not in the world you live in. It has to become more and more like a dream for dreamlike things like that to happen. I'm not ruling it out, but in a world like that, the last thing you'd ask for is those material or sensual things. I, for one, would ask to live in a fairy tale...
And guess what I've done before... and where I want to go again? I'm serious but I expect you to brush this aside. I've seen Cinderella, or my imagination of her, walk past my house. I was completely bewildered and didn't follow. But even she came out of a house, I heard a door slam before she appeared. But now I realise everyone that goes past my house is just a creation I'm used to.
My tip is remove all extremes from your life or your spiritual search. Realising 'the self' or what I think is something between self and no self (God), is the most ordinary thing you can experience, it's not something diligently worked for like these insane monks are led to believe. Upon realising 'the inbetween' you realise you've always been right where you are now and you've always been creating everything every step of the way. And so has everybody else. How? Well first of all, everyone is 'you', and second, no one is in the same universe unless they choose to be. So depending on just how powerful you let your mind become, you can control things a little bit, a lot, or completely.
I assure you, at least, that right now, staring at this computer monitor, reading these words, you actually have everything you'll ever need. You are that. Let go, drop everything, and the world will rearrange around you.

Please never imagine the universe is random, harsh, painful or other lies they've taught us since our introduction into the prison system called society. Don't even watch nature documentaries. That shit is just a reel of the reality of some British fuckwit with too much money. If you've never seen a cheetah kill a gazelle for food, don't assume either even exist. Seriously. Things are only the way they are BECAUSE WE CHOOSE IT. It doesn't have to be any particular way. Ultimately there is no fuss either way, because it is all imaginary. But just imagine what you could be doing! Imagine a fucking fairy tale forest... spending all day in perfect natural ecstasy...

Being someone who actually spends time outdoors I've seen plenty of animals killing each other.
My mental powers couldn't do a thing about it.

Well I'd respond with my true feeling in this matter but I'd get banned.
